Help > Schedule items

A schedule‘s items are specified in relative time.

Start and stop time

A schedule item’s start and stop times can be relative to either its schedule’s START time or STOP time. For example an item with a start time of “01:00:00 after START” will run 1 hour after the schedule is started.

Some rules

There are a few common sense rules that item times must follow otherwise they will simply be ignored.

  • An item’s stop time can’t be before its start time.
  • An item’s start time can’t be before its schedule’s start time. For example you can’t say run “01:00:00 before STOP” and then run the schedule for only 30 minutes.

Repeat interval

An item’s repeat interval is how often you want that item to start. An item will continue to repeat until it reaches its schedule’s stop time.

Example

Say a schedule is running between 1:00 and 5:00, and has an item like this:

Start time: 02:00:00 after START
Stop time: 02:30:00 after START
Repeat interval: 01:00:00

This item will run from 3:00 to 3:30, 4:00 to 4:30, and 5:00 to 5:30.
